A Meal of Big, Fat, Yummylicious Crabs

It was a really chaotic and busy time at work for the past 3 days. And all I want for Vesak Day is to just relax and rot at home. Which thankfully my wish was fulfilled. Bummed around after I woke up close to 1pm... yeah I know, it's late, but I slept late last night too... Plonked myself right in front of my laptop and TV the whole afternoon.
Went for dinner at No Signboard at Mattar Road with my family, sans my youngest brother . Of course we ordered chilli crab (why else would one go there if not for their crabs? haha), steamed fish and stir-fried asparagus. The crabs were really huge! And fresh and tasty too. My dear little tummy was really bloated after dinner.
Sighs... still have to work tomorrow. Wondering if I should take half day leave...

Swimming Alone, Camera Whoring and Bad Dinner

It's Sunday!
Woke up close to 12 and had brunch, which was just a simple fare of porridge and home cooked food. Sat in front of the black box and caught some HK serial that was showing on Ch 255. At 4 odd, I decided to go down for a swim. Alone. Being used to having company whenever I go swimming so that I can swim and chat at the same time, it really felt kind of lonely. For the first few moments anyway. As I swam, it actually felt kind of therapeutic, and I enjoyed it, so much so that I didn’t want to get out of the swimming pool. I had to, otherwise I won’t have my dinner.
Went to Circuit Road Hawker Centre for steamboat with my family. I have to say, the standard of their food has dropped over the years. The food’s not fresh at all, and felt the price of their food is way too high for such kind of quality. Even the satay gravy which we loved is not as good as before. No wonder over the years, the number of customers that patronise them has dropped. Shall make it a point not to go there anymore.
Camera whored on the way there, and continued to do so when I got home. You can say that I am affair a red hot affair with my camera mobile phone recently. Haha. Shown here is just the tip of the iceberg of what I took on Sunday alone… Muahahaha

A Day Spent At Vivocity

Today's finally weekend!! It's been quite a drama at work this week and now at last, I can finally enjoy myself.

Met QJ and her friend at ard 3odd to go Vivocity to shop. Bought quite abit of stuff, which includes an umbrella, a skirt, and a beary bank, and would've bought more, if not for the fact that I must start saving. Been buying quite abit of stuff lately. Not good, not good at all.

GL, CC and his friend and we had dinner at the Chicken Rice Stall. The food's not bad, but their service definitely needs improvement. Lots. GL, CC and his friend and I then headed to watch Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End. I was quite disappointed with the movie actually. It was too long, there's no story, and the plot's confusing. I have to say the effect's good, but there's basically nothing beyond that. And the best part is, they made the ending such that it seems like there's going to be another sequel coming out.

After the movie, we went for some drinks at Pacific Coffee. Chatted for awhile, and headed back home. Real tired now. So think I'll turn in. And hopefully I'll go swimming as planned tomorrow.

Swimming . Photo Whoring . Family Bonding

I must be mad. Went swimming today, despite having sore muscles from yesterday's gymming. But felt good. It's been quite some time since I last stepped into a pool. Swam with JY, and we talked abit as we took rests. Too bad I couldn't spend the whole noon in the pool, as I had to meet RC and TT. But well something happened. I rushed like mad, showering and getting ready to go out. And while I was on the train, RC msged me to say they'll be real late and could only meet me at 6+. And it was only 4 something when they msged me... Decided to go to North Point with JY instead to shop fer prezzie. Went back to Woodlands to meet my family fer dinner. While on the way, did abit of camera whoring (as seen below... haha).
Went to Thomson Plaza after dinner to check out how it has changed after the revamp. Did abit of grocery shopping. Went home, tired but happy. And to face the consequences of even sorer muscles the next day...
